Hi, I’m Justin – also known as DJ HappyGusto!
My DJ journey began in 1999 with private events, later expanding to bars and nightclubs across Quebec and Ontario from 2004 to 2010. As an early pioneer in using music videos on screen, I built an extensive audio-video library covering nearly every genre.
By 2011, I shifted my focus toward weddings, corporate galas, office parties, casinos, product launches, show premieres, and community celebrations of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve gained more than 20 years of solid experience in the event industry, bringing vibrant energy and versatility to every performance.

I mix across Rock, Electro, House, Pop, Dance, Hip-Hop, Reggae/Soca, Latin, Tropical, Country, Disco, Funk, and classics from the 60s through today. My technique blends this wide musical culture into seamless sets, creating an irresistible, festive atmosphere.
As a professional and reliable DJ, I pride myself on reading the crowd, adapting in real time, and keeping the dance floor alive until the very last song. My goal is simple: to turn your celebration into an extraordinary experience filled with joy, energy, and unforgettable memories.
The story behind the name “HappyGusto”
When I was a kid, my dad called me “Gusto” – a nickname that stuck in my memory. Years later, I discovered that “gusto” means “hearty enjoyment,” which perfectly matched my DJ style: joyful, uplifting, and always crowd-focused. By adding “Happy,” I created the name that reflects my true mission: spreading happiness through music.
